Winner completed the construction of its distribution center and office building in Kapitanivka, Kyiv region.

Winner served as the official importer of Mobil, Gates, Champion, and Hoffman, later divesting this business to focus fully on developing the Ford brand in Ukraine.

WINNER BECOMES FORD IMPORTER FOR UKRAINE
Winner became the official importer of Ford in Ukraine, opened the country’s largest Ford service station at the time.

FIRST OFFICIAL FORD DEALER IN KYIV
Winner was appointed the official Ford Motor Company dealer in Kyiv and Western Ukraine shortly after the country declared independence.

THE BEGINNING OF WINNERS HISTORY IN UKRAINE
During the Wimbledon Championship, a Ford executive proposed that John Hynansky – owner of “Winner” dealerships in Delaware and Pennsylvania – establish a Ford dealer network in Ukraine.
While not initially focused on expanding dealership operations, John Hynansky was inspired by the opportunity to represent Ford in Ukraine. In 1991, he made his first visit to the country, where he quickly reconnected with his roots and developed a strong personal bond with Ukraine.
