Teaching Child Safety Through VR
How do you teach children important safety rules in a way that helps them not just listen, but truly remember? Let them experience real-life situations in a virtual world.
Winner and the Juvenile Prevention Unit of the National Police of Ukraine have joined forces on a project that uses VR technology from AR Book to teach children how to act safely in different everyday situations.
Throughout the year, police officers conduct VR-based lessons for schoolchildren across Ukraine. Children explore a range of real-life scenarios – from road safety to dealing with bullying. VR gives them an opportunity to experience these situations in practice and learn how to respond appropriately.
This is how modern technology can help us talk to children about important issues in a way they understand and can relate to.
