In 2019, the National program for children and youth injury prevention, Traffic Challenge, with support of Winner, the National Police and other partners, launched 100 Safety Points campaign. Activists in cooperation with patrol police selected 100 locations across Ukraine where pedestrians are most likely to get into a traffic accident. At these points, GPS thrice made danger warnings to drivers that they were approaching the corresponding location. Training and workshops were also organized within the campaign. 400 schools and kindergartens received “safety kits” with reflective elements, and 60,000 reflective items were distributed among owners of two-wheeled vehicles.
