New Era of Ukrainian Music

Known for its innovative and often unexpected concert programs, the New Era Orchestra has proved itself as a new remarkable player on the European music scene. The New Era Orchestra was founded in 2007 in Kyiv by Tetiana Kalinichenko, who since then has been a co-founder, artistic director and conductor of the orchestra. By uniting talented Ukrainian musicians of the New Generation, Tatiana has gathered real stars, who are able to sense and bring sophistication to their unique style and manner of performance. Tetyana Kalinichenko was also the first to initiate a successful collaboration with world-class superstars, attracting them to perform with the New Era Orchestra in Kyiv. The orchestra has collaborated with the world's most famous soloists, including Joshua Bell (violin, USA), Sarah Chang (violin, USA), Avi Avital (mandolin, Israel-Germany), Maurice Steger (recorder player, Switzerland), Christoph Sietzen (Percussion, Austria), Kit Armstrong (piano, USA), Andriy Bilov (violin, Ukraine-Germany), Dino Saluzzi (bandoneon, Argentina), Danjulo Ishizaka (cello, Germany) and others.

Winner constantly supports the Orchestra within the scope of the “Culture of Ukraine”, as the New Era Orchestra’s creative work is the pearl of this charitable arm.
